Cuong Dang is one of many successful entrepreneurs in St. Louis, the fastest-growing region for foreign-born people. He moved to St. Louis to attend college at Maryville University, and after graduation was offered a job in software development. Now, as the CEO and co-founder of Enliven, he promotes St. Louis as a portal for economic development to counties and companies around the world.

Enliven was happy to host Mugo Odigwe, a reporter from Channel 4 and an immigrant herself, for a conversation on Cuong’s experience as a foreign-born entrepreneur and his involvement with the St. Louis Mosaic Project.

Cuong’s drive to support fellow immigrant entrepreneurs in the St. Louis region fits with his personal philosophy of adding meaning and value to society. Cuong volunteers as an ambassador to immigrant entrepreneurs for St. Louis Mosaic Project, which promotes regional prosperity through immigration and innovation. He serves as the Vice President of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC), which supports minorities and Asian American-owned businesses to become more successful.
