Project Overview

CHAN HEALTHCARE provides internal audit services exclusively to the healthcare industry. As we engaged with CHAN, it quickly became apparent that they had their internal business processes down pat. However, Audivate, the internal software application they were using to manage those processes, was suffering performance penalties as the system scaled. When Enliven showed up on the scene, it was time to reinvest in the application to ensure a sustainable, scalable, and efficient product for the future.

As is our hope with all client-partners, our initial engagement with CHAN led to a second engagement, which led to our current, long-term standing as their trusted provider for all development, strategy, UX, deployment lifecycle, and project management support.

The first project we endeavored was a launch of Audivate, where auditors would use their initial evaluations to create tactical projects. Our role included UX discovery and strategy, front end development, and general support as the in-house team implemented our solutions. In the end, CHAN’s CIO reported that this was the most successful internal launch to date.

Next, we supplemented the project workflow with a research library, allowing auditors to access documentation and resources related to their projects without leaving the primary interface. By integrating the research library directly into Audivate rather than asking staff to access the library via an external SharePoint folder, the usage of those resources increased 30%.

Most recently, we incorporated business workflows, including risk assessment, directly into Audivate for a seamless process from evaluation to prioritization to project management.

Throughout our work with CHAN, we have provided business value by being able to execute on all aspects of the projects, whereas previously, it was necessary to divvy up aspects of the projects to various contractors. The previous piecemeal model of project execution was costing valuable management time and led to higher overhead. Enliven was able to deliver all aspects of our projects on time and under budget.
